Admissions Information Case Managers Need to Know

We want to help facilitate your goal by being a resource you can contact to discuss general inquiries, unique situations and specific questions about our services. Below we provide a few quick reference items regarding admissions at Crossroads of Western Iowa. Admissions Criteria

Here’s a quick reference guide on general admissions criteria at Crossroads.

  • Individual has a desire to receive services
  • Funding sources have been secured
  • Individual is not currently diagnosed as an alcoholic or drug abuser
  • Individual is not harmful to others
  • Individual is not on the sex offender registry list
  • Individual is not a convicted felon

Common Questions

We know that you have questions based on your assessment of an individual, as well as questions the family may ask of you about specific services. The most common questions we receive include:

  • Are there currently openings in a specific program?
  • Is the house active?
  • Where is the location of the house? What is the neighborhood like?
  • What are the roommates like?
  • What type of access will the individual have to the community?

And we’re ready to quickly answer those questions, as well as any other questions, as we know these are important to making the best decision for each person.
